Agateware Pebble Stone Ceramic Vases

My goal in my ceramic artwork is to call upon a past experience or emotion. Every ceramic piece is filled with my positive energy energy and creative spirit.

The combination of brown and white color clays thrown on the wheel give a dynamic flow of color patterns. It reminds me of marble pebble stone. After the vases were thrown on the wheel as a completely enclosed form, I altered and shaped them as stones. The vases were high fired in electric kiln.

The little sculptures look beautiful as a group.

The photos do not speak the justice. If you put the pebble stone next to the vase you will not be able to tell the difference between the real stone and the ceramic vase.
