It is glazed inside and functional and looks gorgeous with one long stem flower or a bunch of organic grass. This woodland ceramic vase was inspired by an amazing variety Of course, I gave it my own interpretation. The natural brushwork retains the elegant woodland quality of nature’s work. The carved surface is filled with light green/ okra color glaze reminding you of moss on the bark.
My strongest inspiration comes from Mother Nature and its magical beauty, harmony, strength and power. Ceramics is about tactility, beauty, and subjectivity. My goal in my ceramic sculpture is to call upon a past experience and imagination.
