Horsehair Raku Ceramic Pet’s Urn
This horsehair raku lidded jar blends smooth, smoke‑marked clay with an organic architectural lid.  Its marbled surface bears smoky trails left by burning horsehair.

This beautiful organic urn can have spiritual service and can be used as keepsake urn or pet urn and will also look beautiful as a decor piece.

The horsehair raku lidded jar is infused with terra sigilata and minerals. The surfaces shimmer with a soft pearl luster, revealing subtle blues, purples and pinks beneath a veil of carbon trails. Vein-like patterns speak of transformation. A tactile meditation on grounding and ascent, this piece invites stillness, reflection, and a sense of place. Drift wood handle adds beautiful movement and dynamics to the piece.

This sculptural ceramic urn reimagines the traditional horsehair firing technique, once reserved for uniform, functional vases, into a celebration of organic irregular forms.. This urn will be rustic yet refined addition to any fine art collection or nature-inspired interior.

The source of my inspirations is Mother nature – its magical beauty, harmony, strength and power. Ceramics is about tactility, beauty, and subjectivity. My goal in my ceramic sculpture is to call upon a past experience or emotion.

The jar is 9” tall with a handle ( 6” without handle and 6” in diameter.)
