These two magnolia flower wall sculptures are replicas of the magnolia  life cycle.  These wall hangings were hand-built from black and white clay slabs, then shaped and textured. Terra sigillata slip was brushed on the flower multiple times and then burnished. The wall hangings were high fired in electric kiln.
Each sculpture is approximately: 10.75″ x 7.5″

The earrings are minimalistic, just emphasizing the picture drawn on the stone by nature. Striking geometricaly shaped gemstones are set in a simple sterling silver bezel and paired with highly textured oxidized silver drops soldered to a long silver French wire closure.
