Description

My ceramic art is a reflection of my relationship with natural forms. The metamorphosis of nature’s forms and how they change is very fascinating to me. Narrative, symbolic, or decorative, my organic sculptures bring to mind the raw elements of trees, plants, earth, and water. My imagination often transforms them into new forms so they are not always replicas.

Clouds have carried deep symbolism across art and culture for centuries. I love watching clouds. They reflect the ever-changing nature of life appearing and disappearing just like thoughts and emotions. Reminiscent of cumulus clouds this PUFFY CLOUD sculpture symbolizes dreams, imagination and illusion.

The vase is hand sculpted from porcelain clay using slabs and coils.. It is glazed inside and outside and is water proof. Each piece is original piece of art.
