The surface is infused with terra sigillata infused with minerals. Horsehair is laid across the ceramic body, igniting on contact and leaving smoky black carbon trails that dance across the form like ancient markings. Carbon trail is a wild signature of chance, making every piece a singular expression of nature’s untamed beauty. The minerals respond to the heat and smoke, drawing forth a subtle, iridescent sheen. A pearl-like luster seems to rise from within the clay itself.
