The black clay vase was burnished and also has smooth finish though distressed feel. Both vases are glazed inside and high fired in electric kiln. The vase was glazed inside and refried at 2250F.

The vases are approximate;y 11” tall and 5″ in diameter. 

The vases are functional vase and looks gorgeous with a flower arrangement.

Wabi Sabi Ceramic Black & Cream Vases

The source of my inspiration is Mother Nature – its magical beauty, harmony, strength and power.
Ceramics is about tactility, beauty, and subjectivity. This organic surface of these nature-inspired vases resembles a tree bark.

These vases will add an organic touch to a traditional decor featuring a distinct texture.  The off-white vase is made from porcelain clay, the cream color terra siggilata was applied to the outsice surface. The black clay vase was burnished and also has smooth finish though distressed feel. Both vases are glazed inside and high fired in electric kiln.
If you put a few bright cheerful flowers into it, the effect will be beautiful.
