The terracotta red color seed pod vase is hand sculpted from stoneware clay using slab and coils. Many various texture slips, stains and underglazes were applied adding organic rustic feel to the sculpture. The vase was high fired in electric kiln to 2800F.
Dimensions: 9.5” tall X 7.5″ wide.
The vase is functional and can hold water. You can randomly display one or a few flowers .

Wabi Sabi Seed Pod Sculptural Vase
This vase reflects my relationship with natural forms. Gray and red color seed pod vase is hand sculpted from stoneware clay using slab and coils. Many architectural element were added and shaped during different stages of the process creating dramatic movement. I applied a lot of texture with slips, stains and underglazes at the final stage giving organic rustic feel to the sculpture. The vase was high fired in electric kiln to 2800F.
Dimensions: 9.5” tall X 7.5″ wide.
The vase is functional and can hold water. You can randomly display one or a few flowers .
Handmade ceramics are always more than just tableware or décor. It is a creative process of transforming a ball of clay into an object of art. My vessels are organic and elegant with bold look. They are beautiful accents to any home décor.
