Description

Infused with light from behind, genuine labradorite cabochons show an iridescent play of colors. Dreamy labradorites set in a sterling silver bezel anchoring large disk reminding you of a FULL MOON. These brilliantly subtle organic earrings feature hand painted etched brass combined with sterling silver. Finished with sterling silver hook closure.

The earrings are 2.75″ long.

Labradorite is one of my favorite stones. This beautiful mineral is known as spectrolite; which is a colorless variety, darkened with needlelike inclusions, it is often called black moonstone. Spectrolite is a dark and opalescent blue with a shimmer when the light hits it. It was discovered in Finland during WWII, and it is also called falcon’s-eye. Green-blue labradorite is very rare.

A stone of transformation, Labradorite is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies. Excellent for strengthening intuition-promoting psychic abilities.
