Seashell Sculptural Bowls

Description

My strongest inspiration comes from Mother Nature and its influences on the shape of plants, trees and rocks, both on land and underwater.

These seashells barnacles’ bowls are a part of my Ocean Series inspired by an amazing variety of sea barnacles, sponges and other live organisms. It reflects my relationship with natural forms.

The shells are hand formed from porcelain. The outside surface is left untreated emphasizing natural outside texture. The inside blue ocean colors are created by combination of layered glazes. The design captures the natural fluidity and movement. 

These seashell bowls are designed to be versatile, making them a wonderful functional little dish.  Yet they are also a great addition to a any décor adding harmonious balance to your home. 

These dishes measure approximately 5″ wide x 7″ long x 1.5″ high.
