I felt a deep connection immediately when I started working with this black clay. Every texture and curve reflects the beauty of nature. I called this extra large sculptural bowl DREAM LAKE. A distinctive feature of this sculptural bowl is how it resembles a mountain lake.
Its dark gray earthy color connects it to the earth and rocks symbolizing strength. Carved open spaces let the bright water reflect light through adding movement. The melted sea glass created a unique surface which reminds you of deep lake waters. The Dream Lake Sculpture represents nature’s balance.

This large vase is hand-built from slabs and coils. Numerous tiny sponge-like tubes were carefully attached one by one to the top of the vase. The vase is high-fired in an electric kiln and has two Shino glaze applications. It is functional. It won multiple awards in various art shows and was featured in International Fine Art Magazine APERO.
The vase dimensions are 11.5″ tall x 9″ wide.

A pristine, flawlessly faced airy blue topaz briolette wrapped in sterling silver wire is paired with a small leaf. Tiny labradorite set in reminds you of a raindrop. Blue topaz teardrop freely flows off two hand-forged orbits. The pendant is attached to a sterling silver chain, finished with a toggle clasp and accented with a 2.5″ extension chain that ends with a small leaf with a labradorite drop.

The brown, gray color of smoky quartz is caused by irradiation and traces of aluminum built into its crystal lattice. Smokey Quartz is a grounding stone that transmutes negative energies.

My weekend walks on Encinitas Moonlight Beach inspired me to do this body of work. This zen-looking stacked stones CAIRN ceramic vase reminds you of California beach stones.remind you of California beach stones. They would be a unique gift and/or a gorgeous addition to your home decor or garden.
I have developed this finishing technique after experimenting for a long time trying to achieve the desired surface. This stoneware vase is hand-built and shaped as beach stones. While still in a wet stage, the stones were rolled in fine crumbs of dry clay of different colors. Then various slips and under glazes were layered on top of the leather hard clay.
This piece represents nature’s balance showing how imperfect forms can be beautiful and full of meaning.
The vase size is: 11 tall by 6″.

This ring is created using Repoussé metalworking, metal press and hammering techniques. I made the ring by carefully cutting silver sheets from a designed by me template. After the silver petals and the bezel were soldered, the ring was shaped to create fluid movement. The genuine oval-shaped Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabochon is set in a silver bezel. I oxidized and applied patina to the ring and then polished it to give the ring a rustic feel.
The ring is made of a very sturdy 18 gauge sterling silver sheet, has a heavy thick ban hammered band, and is made to last a lifetime.
